 We are looking for a Quality Connector to work in our Corporate office in Newstead, Brisbane. 

The Quality Connector roles exist within each business unit of Riverside Marine to ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment systems are adhered to in their respective office environments. Your steady beat will keep the rhythms of the Riverside Marine Office in sync and aligned.

A sociable, outgoing and warm personality is a must, as you will be the key representative of Riverside Marine and be the model for our high and exceptional Quality standards.

As a Quality Connector, you are highly responsible and accountable for being the bridge between these core value systems to our business unit's context of the office environment and all internal and external services and communications. 

Your key strength is to empower the office environment to strive for consistent high quality and adherence to Riverside Marine standards across office environments and staff communications. Essentially, you will be the host of the business,  the "go-to" person and someone who has the answer or takes appropriate steps to find out, and develop and implement solutions. Your communication skills will be put to the test as a bridge for management and team support, an Ear to listen and an Eye to watch & help. 

You will be responsible for coordinating all communications in order to provide an exceptional customer experience to our stakeholders with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. You will be expected to establish rapport and relationships with internal customers, understand their accountabilities and their roles, to facilitate your ability to do the above. You will also be responsible for producing written communications that are disseminated across and external to the Group. We will be looking to you for your guidance as you are expected to engage in creative problem solving to help provide solutions on the go and able to initiate opportunities to bring information, share resources, solve problems and ultimately help colleagues when needed.

You will have a high level of social awareness, and alert to the needs of those around you, as well as the activities taking place and your surroundings. Being assertive and proactive will be a huge contributor to your success in the role.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in a Senior Administration/PA/EA or similar role
  • You will have a 'Can Do' positive attitude, and display great energy and enthusiasm for your work!
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively in English – written and spoken
  • Previous experience in law (degree qualified or legal secretary)
  • Significant knowledge of and experience in providing Company Secretarial support
  • Strong level of personal and work resilience
  • Flexible interpersonal style – able to deal with a broad range of stakeholders confidently and effectively
  • Compliant with regulations and policies
  • Proactive and willing to exercise initiative
  • Socially confident in both formal and informal situations, and sociable
  • Adaptable – able to manage and prioritise competing demands, and deal with changes quickly and effectively
  • Willing to think “outside the box”
  • Positive and respectful attitude
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of probity
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Efficient time management and organisational skills
  • Technically savvy and computer literate (e.g. MS Office)
  • Full Drivers' Licence
